About the Role

Henriksen Studio is looking for a skilled Faade Consultant to lead faade development under construction and faade remedial issues, technical assessments, and management of faade projects through RIBA Stage 5. This role involves undertaking site and factory visits, stakeholder management, and technical reporting. Youll collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure faade systems are designed, constructed, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design development: Support design development of faade engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with standards.
  • Site & Factory Visits: Regularly assess installations and manufacturing, maintaining quality and resolving issues (may include EU travel).
  • Technical Reporting: Produce detailed reports and communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee faade manufacturing and installation, ensuring compliance with project specs. Support in conveying manufacturing capabilities and restrictions to the rest of the design team

Your Profile

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years in faade engineering or manufacturing, with experience in project coordination and technical reporting
  • Strong knowledge of faade systems, materials, and construction methods
  • Excellent technical writing, leadership, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and BIM
  • Experience with sustainable faade engineering and or manufacturing
