We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant with a strong background in higher education recruitment, particularly experienced in onboarding academics. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in HR recruitment and onboarding processes, ready to make an immediate impact in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead the recruitment process for academic positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
- Utilise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and streamline the recruitment process.
- Source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, ensuring a good fit with the academic environment.
- Conduct initial screening interviews, coordinate with department heads, and manage the interview process.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all administrative and compliance requirements are met.
- Provide ongoing support to new staff to facilitate a smooth transition into their roles.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in recruitment, preferably within higher education or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR recruitment processes, including effective onboarding strategies.
- Proficient in using ATS for tracking and managing recruitment activities.
- Excellent sourcing techniques with a track record of successfully filling academic roles.
- Competent in handling multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
