We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant with a strong background in higher education recruitment, particularly experienced in onboarding academics. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in HR recruitment and onboarding processes, ready to make an immediate impact in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the recruitment process for academic positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Utilise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and streamline the recruitment process.
  • Source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, ensuring a good fit with the academic environment.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews, coordinate with department heads, and manage the interview process.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all administrative and compliance requirements are met.
  • Provide ongoing support to new staff to facilitate a smooth transition into their roles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in recruitment, preferably within higher education or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR recruitment processes, including effective onboarding strategies.
  • Proficient in using ATS for tracking and managing recruitment activities.
  • Excellent sourcing techniques with a track record of successfully filling academic roles.
  • Competent in handling multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
