Mobile / site basedrole across London, head office based in Wembley area

Scope of Role:

  • Working within the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental (QSHE) Compliance Department. You will be mobile / site based, with the option to work at the head office based in the Wembley area
  • This is a key role supporting the growing number of gas engineers, direct employees and contractors, ensuring excellent quality and compliance of gas & mechanical work undertaken
  • You will be working with and reporting to the QSHE Compliance Manager, with the responsibility of the technical standards, compliance and quality control of the gas / mechanical work undertaken by the engineers
  • Providing the QSHE Compliance Manager with good quality site-based information to determine levels of risk and compliance, specifically for Gas Safe certification.
  • Contribute to the companies QSHE Compliance Strategy, developing the workforce and business improvement objectives
  • Company van or work travel expenses paid

Experience:

  • Experienced working within commercial buildings, with technical knowledge of installing / servicing / testing; HVAC, air handling units, boilers, heating systems, chiller systems
  • Understand the inspection, testing, verification, certification, and reporting procedures for the scope of gas / mechanical works undertaken
  • Proven track record of understanding gas / mechanical installations and maintenance of commercial and domestic systems
  • Previous experience within a compliance role desirable, not essential

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds 6089 Mechanical Engineering Services Plumbing Level 2 and 3 NVQ, or equivalent
  • Gas Safe Registered (Commercial & Domestic)
  • Gold Card is desirable, but not essential
