The Company:

We are a UK market leader within Retail wholesale with ambitious and exciting plans for further growth.

Since the pandemic we have seen significant increase in trade resulting in us achieving a turnover in excess of £70 Million, which we foresee to increase further over the next 12 months.

We are the largest member of our buying group and specialise in providing ambient grocery products to the convenience and independent retail sector.
Our range includes soft drinks, confectionery, snack, household cleaning and alcohol products.

We work with all of the leading manufacturers and brands in these areas including having our own brands across certain product lines.

We have an exceptional buying team who are able to source products from various different manufacturers and wholesale suppliers – enabling us to provide exceptional value products to our customer base.

The Role:

This position involved management and further development of a portfolio of accounts across a designated area.

The potential account base across retail is varied and includes convenience retail, symbol retailers, ethnic specialist retailers and discount retailers.

In regards to existing customers you will work closely with them to introduce new and existing ambient product lines across all of our categories.

With new customers you will be locating potential clients that meet our customer model and introducing and retaining our services.

Our sophisticated hand held ordering and stock system enables you to be able to discuss real time product pricing and availability with customers during meetings.

We are looking for

  • Candidates with experience of sales into the convenience/independent retail channel.
  • Candidates with experience of working for a Retail wholesaler will be of strong interest.
  • Candidates with multi-lingual skills will be of particular interest
  • Candidates with Field Marketing experience looking to work in a more commercial retail focused sales role will also be welcomed.
