Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage quality assurance processes to ensure all products meet performance requirements and exceed industry standards.
- Ensure full compliance with UK, EU and internal regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality materials and components.
- Support marketing initiatives by providing technical expertise on product performance and features.
- Lead the development of innovative products based on current market demands and future trends.
- Take on additional duties to contribute to the company's continuous improvement and business success.
Requirements:
- Previous relevant experience, preferable within a technical workplace garment sector and/or garment technologist
- Knowledge of technical fabrics.
- Familiarity with the entire product development process, from initial concept to final prototype.
- Understanding of UK, EU and Global regulations, compliance, and industry standards.
- Willingness to travel internationally when necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Works effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
