We are looking for a Programme Manager for a 3 month rolling contract as the PM you will be responsible for leading and managing complex programmes and projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards ensuring that the programme is aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.

This is a remote (ad hoc travel to site), inside IR35 role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Management. Plan and design the programme and proactively monitor and report on its overall progress. Map programme dependencies, identify owners and build dependency management into the governance cycle.
  • Governance. Monitor and manage project progress, identify and manage risks and issues and take corrective action as necessary. Ensure that project deliverables meet the agreed quality standards. Ensure that projects are aligned with the strategic goals of the organisation, ensuring regular reporting and escalation as appropriate.
  • Planning. Ensure programme plan is developed, maintained and tracked throughout the life of the programme.
  • Change Management. Ensure robust Change Management process in place to control scope of programme.
  • Finance Management. Ensure work is estimated, budgets secured, costs are tracked and finances managed throughout the programme lifecycle. Work with Finance to ensure the necessary approvals are in place.
  • Stakeholder Management. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation. Ensure that stakeholders are kept informed of project progress risks and issues and that their expectations are managed appropriately.
  • Any previous consultancy experience would be an advantage.
