THE COMPANY

This is a high-tech consumer insights platform that helps brands track marketing effectiveness and brand equity, providing real-time competitive intelligence through subscription-based research products. The company is undergoing a rebrand to reflect its focus on driving brand growth and momentum.

THE ROLE

As a Research Manager, you will take full ownership of client accounts, delivering insightful brand tracking and competitive analysis. This role is highly client-facing, requiring strong storytelling skills to translate data into compelling narratives that help brands grow.

You'll work on a 90% quantitative, 10% qualitative split, with AI-driven language models handling the qualitative data. This role does not involve lead generation, but there is an opportunity to upsell within existing accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage client accounts from start to finish, delivering insights and identifying upsell opportunities.

  • Conduct quarterly brand reviews and competitor analysis using brand equity data.

  • Present findings to clients, translating data into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Work with quantitative and AI-driven qualitative insights to track brand performance.

  • Collaborate closely with the UK and South Africa teams in a highly dynamic, startup environment.

  • Some travel may be required.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 3-4+ years of experience in market research (agency background preferred).

  • Brand experience and strong knowledge of brand equity tracking.

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables required) and PowerPoint.

  • SaaS experience is a plus, but not essential.

  • A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to work.

  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to tell stories through data.
