About the Company:Join a leading consumer insights platform helping clients track marketing effectiveness and brand equity. With a suite of products delivering "market research on tap," the company provides year-long subscriptions for live brand and competitive intelligence. As they undergo a rebrand in the coming weeks, they're expanding their team to meet growing demand.

The Team:A collaborative, small team split between the UK and South Africa. You'll report to the Head of Insights and work alongside another Research Manager and a Senior Strategy Partner in the UK, plus a Research Manager in South Africa. The team is fast-moving, and everyone steps in to help each other when needed.

The Role:As a Research Manager, you'll be client-facing (30% of your time), managing accounts, developing brand reviews, and delivering compelling narratives from customer and brand equity data. You'll work with a mix of quantitative (90%) and qualitative (10%) data, using AI language models to handle the qual side. The role involves developing insights, performing competitor analysis, and identifying opportunities for upselling, but without business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts and develop brand/competitor insights

  • Create quarterly brand reviews and competitor analysis reports

  • Present data-driven narratives and stories to clients

  • Travel for client meetings as required

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a research role (agency background preferred)

  • Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint

  • Good knowledge of brand research and analytics

  • SaaS experience is a plus

  • Client-facing experience, with a collaborative attitude and willingness to work in a high-tech, fast-paced environment

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Interview with the Head of Insights (Teams) - Focus on skills and culture fit

  2. Task - A 30-minute exercise to test your ability to build narratives from data

  3. Final Interview with the Head of Insights and CEO (in person or online)
