Assistant Cafe Manager - Chelsea

Salary:up to £45,000 pa - 45hour contract (weekend availability required)

Hours: 5 out of 7days (shop open from 7am-6pm)

We are looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead the team, and provide the most outstanding service to our customers at all times.

This role would really suit you if you have a background in luxury hospitality (hotels, members clubs etc) / guest relations and are looking for a position with more sociable, daytime hours.

This bakery has proved to be one of Chelseas most popular sites - and on offer are a selection of French classics such as croissants, madeleines and biscuits, all baked fresh as well as some incredible treats.


Main responsibilities:-

  • Serving fantastic coffee and incredible bakery goods
  • Assisting customers and providing outstanding customer service
  • Training new staff
  • Maximising sales within the shop and handling cash
  • Leading by example and handling any customer complaints

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A passion for and proven experience of excellent customer service
  • Currently are or have worked as a supervisor/number 2 in a busy outlet
  • Experienced in luxury hospitality (essential)
  • Experience in creating specialised coffee and serving baked goods
  • A love for the finest, freshest products
  • Customer focused with a positive attitude
