Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager who within the limits of Millennium & Copthorne policies and procedures, oversees and directs all aspects of the Food & Beverage function and operations.
The Assistant Food & Beverage ManagerKey Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure all customers enjoy their Food & Beverage experience through professional delivery of service in all outlets.
- Develop and launch new Food & Beverage concepts and products as required, in conjunction with the F&B Manager and Hotel Operations Manager.
- Develop customer loyalty and the customer experience within each of our outlets & within the banqueting Department.
- Set the presentation standards in conjunction with the F&B Manager and Hotel Operations Manager of all outlets in relation to Food, Beverage, Staffing, Crockery, Cutlery, Condiments etc and review on regular basis, in line with guest feedback and budgets.
- Design & implement monthly Food & Beverage promotions in conjunction with the F&B Manager for all outlets in conjunction with Marketing team.
- Monitor hospitality staffing levels in line with business levels and take appropriate action to ensure optimum manning tracking business trends
The Experience & Qualifications for Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
- Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.
The successful candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
- Team worker
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
