About Row on 5:

Row on 5 by Jason Atherton is our flagship restaurant in Mayfair. It takes over two floors of a new building on Savile Row. The concept is a culinary voyage involving a multi-course dining experience. On the ground floor, theres a mix of counter dining and tables for 36 diners. Downstairs theres an open kitchen and bar and room for 22 more diners, along with a private dining room cellar with eight seats. We're on a mission to redefine the dining experience, and we're looking for a passionate staff to join our team and be a part of this exciting journey.

About You: You are an experienced and dynamic professional with a passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service. You have worked in a fine dining and Michelin Starred Restaurants. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager, Will be responsible for managing the Restaurant as follows:

  • Deliver consistent and high service delivery to all our guests, ensure all guests receives a memorable and lifetime experience that is unique to Row on 5.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback effectively and professionally.
  • Manage Reservations and private functions, seating arrangements, and table service.
  • Oversee the smooth running of the Restaurant, including stock control, supplies, payment transactions and food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Maintain and comply with high Company service standards.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and the Executive Chef on Restaurant projects.
  • Oversee the management of the Reception and Restaurant functions including training & development, rota management, recruitment & selection, and performance reviews.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and its development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a fine dining and Michelin starred setting.
  • Customer Focus: A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • OrganisationalSkills: Strong organisationaland multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by the business.
  • Right to Work: Must have the right to work and live in the UK without any restrictions.
