We have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedAssistant Restaurant Managerto join our team.

Exceptional food is an essential ingredient of the Royal Garden Hotel experience and we are looking to recruit an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the reopening of our new restaurant, by providing an efficient and courteous food and beverage service to guests under the general guidance of the Restaurant Manager.

This position will help bring to life our new restaurant concept where provenance is a produce driven modern British restaurant where seasonality is celebrated in comfort and style. Cooking is heartfelt, wholesome and we treat our beautiful ingredients with the respect and care that they deserve! From farm to fork!

Key responsibilities:

  • Assists the Restaurant Manager in the following functions:
  • Weekly rotas
  • General administration of restaurant's team members
  • Restaurant's quality level of production
  • Guest satisfaction
  • Involvement in merchandising and marketing
  • Departmental financial matters
  • Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene
  • Has strategic approach to the training and development of the department
  • Assists in developing a formal training plan and to implement it in conjunction with the standard manual.
  • Coordinates with the Kitchen regarding food and service.
  • Understands and assists with management of all group and private dining bookings in the restaurant and assists with all associated logistics.
