A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BARTENDER AT THE GANTRY LONDON HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the F&B Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Develops high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay, in order to foster loyalty
- Working and co-operating with colleagues to always enhance the guest experience
- To assist and support the F&B Management in creating an environment and ensure smooth operation of the department.
- To consistently strive for innovation and creativity in product and service, that will increase volume and maximize sales and profitability and provide consistent quality service in the Bar and Restaurant
- Ensuring there is a high standard of personal hygiene and personal presentation throughout the team
- Ensure all Health & Safety /Food safety compliance are adhered to. Reports any hazard, accident, loss, or damage to management
- Ensure accuracy of all reservations
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of bartender, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Previous food & beverage experience in a supervisory role
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences all the time
- Passionate and willingness to learn
- Ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication within the department and ensure that the Department Manager is kept well informed of any problems/queries that have arisen
- Have strong knowledge of Hotels products: - Food & Beverage and auditing procedures
- Fully conversant with COSHH regulations and Risk Assessments for the department
- Ability to work morning, afternoon/evening, and weekends
- Effective organizational skills, able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a demanding workload
- Excellent presentation skills
