Cigalon is a well-established Provenal restaurant situated in Chancery Lane serving authentic and original food from the South of France complemented by a very nice wine list, from the small vineyard from South of France to the best Champagne House. We believe in providing a warm welcome and the best possible service in a relaxing environment in order to exceed customers expectations.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to start ideally mid to end of January.

We are looking for someone to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

What we offer:

Only 4 day week, Tuesday to Friday, around 45h/week.

22 paid days holiday per year

what we are looking for:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent service while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menu items that align with customer preferences and seasonal availability.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Experience in food preparation or bartending is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
