Restaurant Manager

Our client is an independent restaurant selling Pizza, Italian and Craft Beer which is part of a small, growing restaurant group. We are looking for an experience Restaurant Manager that is able to manage staff and financials within this busy, friendly environment.

As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee day-to-day activities, manage and inspire your team and provide outstanding service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory, and quality control.
  • Cultivate a positive, customer-focused atmosphere that aligns with our brand values.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and budgets.
  • Handle customer feedback with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Train and develop team members to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager in a busy casual dining environment (2 years minimum).
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead by example.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management profit & loss. You will be accountable for the site EBITDA.
