We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Supervisor to join the team at our new restaurant in Hyde Park!

After 10 years at the forefront of the East London brunch scene, Friends Of Ours opened a second site at Hyde Parks Serpentine Gallery North, last November.

We are looking for a brilliant Supervisor to work alongside management, taking on responsibilities such as running shifts, controlling the guest-book, and supporting and training junior members of staff.

Specific duties will include:

  • To assist the GM and AGM in the day to day running of the café.
  • To help ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the operating hours.
  • To facilitate the smooth running of the shift in the absence of the GM and AGM.
  • To ensure fresh items are stored and rotated correctly (smoothies, juices, cakes etc.)
  • To check the levels of drinks and products in the fridges and notify GM or AGM of any low stock items.
  • To support the Café Managers with the training of new floor staff.
  • To notify the Manager of all compliments, queries or complaints received. To liaise with customers experiencing difficulty in the absence of the GM or AGM.
  • To maintain a high level of knowledge of our food and drink products.
  • To make a positive contribution to the company as a whole.
  • To take on specific responsibilities such as running a waitlist, ensuring health and safety checks (TRAIL APP) are completed, and overseeing weekly cleaning duties.
