We are seeking a driven Dining Room Manager join the Claridges Restaurant team at Claridges.

Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridges is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Since the 1850s, Claridges has excelled at the finer things in life: glamorous design, inspiring dining, impeccable service. There are many 5-star hotels in London but nowhere quite like Claridges. The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long-standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as annexe to Buckingham Palace. Claridges has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the Foyer & Reading Room, LEpicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridges Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painters Room.

As the Dining Room Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the highest level of food and beverage service.
  • Displaying a positive and empathetic approach to personal relations, leading by example and always staying humble and patient.
  • Creating genuine emotional bonds with guests, in order to build loyalty and create exceptional service experiences.
  • Have a commitment to the highest quality products that are used in the restaurant.
  • Have a genuine passion for food and beverage, and an understanding of current food trends, culture and industry developments.

Successful candidates for our Dining Room Manager opportunity will:

  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridges and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
  • Have previous experience in Restaurant Manager role and will have worked in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Have exceptional knowledge of food, wines and spirits, and a good understanding of artisan and organic products.
  • Be able to motivate and lead a team, is adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail.
  • Immaculate personal presentation with professional and welcoming personality.
  • Ability to deal with high profile guests in a professional manner
