This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global company with a strong presence in the UK and European markets. The successful candidate will be crucial in expanding our market share and establishing new business relationships.
They’re a leading pump manufacturer seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the South East UK market.
What you will do:
- Research and identify new business opportunities in the pump industry, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and potential customers.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to attract new clients interested in pumps.
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions for pumps.
- Promote the company's pumps to prospective clients through various channels.
- Meet with customers face-to-face or over the phone to discuss their pump requirements and how the company's products can meet their needs.
- Develop quotes and proposals for prospective clients interested in purchasing pumps.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars, and events to build the company's network and profile in the pump industry.
By focusing on these responsibilities, a business development manager can effectively drive sales and growth for a company selling pumps.
What you will have:
- Proven track record in sales of Pumps in B2B Sales.Â
- Experience in the heavy industries - mining, petrochem, oil & gas, energy, power, quarries, chemical, manufacturing
- Strong understanding of viscous liquid applications
- Ability to develop and maintain key client relationships
- Passion for challenging market dominance and increasing market share
