Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in London. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing revenue by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with existing clients, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients in the London area, leveraging your lighting knowledge to provide innovative solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying new opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, working closely with the sales team to achieve company objectives.
- Conduct product demonstrations with clients and internal teams as needed.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the lighting industry.
- Previous experience working with end-users (i.e., facility managers)
- Strong understanding of lighting, technologies, and applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a hunger to chase new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license (as the role will require travel)
Desirable:
- Contacts with facility managers.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
Package:
Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 per annum (Depending on experience).
Competitive car allowance.
