Due to continued growth an Accounts Assistant is required to join a high calibre and well-established finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Inputting of invoices into SAP accounting system;
- Reconciliation of bank accounts;
- Cash flows
- Prepayments/Accruals;
- Maintaining Fixed Assets Register and Depreciation;
- Creating sales ledger invoices and bank letters;
- VAT return
- Year end audit preparation and accounts
- Business analysis and Group reporting
Skills & Experience:
Candidates for this role should be working towards professional accountancy qualification or newly qualified and have gained 1-2 years of finance experience at entry level. Applicants will, however, need to demonstrate a pro-active, can-do attitude to join this small team at such a pivotal time for the group.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Flexible & extremely adaptable; Thrives in changing, high pressured environments
- Microsoft Excel skills
- working knowledge of SAGE line 50 or SAP advantageous
- Experience within corporate sector beneficial
