Finance Assistant - Entertainment

Are you a talented finance assistant seeking to expand your experience in the finance sector? An exciting opportunity awaits with a global entertainment provider! They are in need of an aspiring individual to support them during the demanding audit period, taking on additional tasks for an initial period of up to 6 months. Join them and enhance your finance skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in preparation of financial statements for statutory entities.
  • Assist in providing documentation for auditors.
  • Assist with preparing the balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Assist with G&A reporting.
  • Assist with placing insurance for touring and festival business.

Main Activities:

  • Supporting the financial reporting manager in providing documentation to the external auditors in a timely manner.
  • Prepare month end journals for items such as prepayments, interest income and accruals.
  • Preparation of monthly G&A files.
  • Maintain monthly insurance reports.
  • Exposure to financial statements preparation.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as requested by the Financial Reporting Manger.

Key Skills:

  • School leaver/graduate preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel preferred but can be taught.
  • Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Ability to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.

Please not that this role is a temporary role and will be mainly office based at a central London location!
