VisionFR is delighted to be seeking a Finance Assistant on behalf of our client a leading culture media brand. They are a fun, lively company and you will be an important part of the Finance Team. You will be reporting into the Finance Manager and Client Billings Manager.

Finance Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of 2 x Accounts Payable Inboxes
  • Process purchase invoices via Sage Intacct
  • Raise sales invoices as per instructions from AR Manager
  • New Vendor and Client creation process
  • Respond and engage with suppliers and credit control teams via email and telephone, resolving queries in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Prepare weekly supplier pay runs and input all bank payment entries to accounting system
  • Manage and prepare payments for staff expenses
  • Process bank and BACS payments to suppliers and send remittance advices
  • Aged Debtor and Creditor reporting - Monitoring monthly
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Supplier and Client reconciliations and maintenance of ledgers
  • Facilitate AP and AR Month end closing within the deadline and correction journal postings
  • Provide requested documentation for audits

Finance Assistant Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in similar role in a multi entity media environment
  • Genuine desire to learn and progress rapidly
  • Knowledge of finance systems - Sage Intacct experience would be a bonus
  • Knowledge of banking and virtual company card systems (e.g. Pleo, Revolut)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a hard-working attitude and work well in a team environment
  • Desirable AAT Level stage 2/3
