Finance Assistant – Sales Ledger

My client is  seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to manage their sales ledger based in their Park Royal office. This role involves handling approximately 200 invoices per month, performing credit control, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will ideally be proficient in using Xero Accounting system (or similar) and possess strong communication skills. Knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Generate and manage invoices as part of the sales ledger process.
  • Proactively chase payments and manage credit control.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of aged debtors to ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure financial operations align with organisational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in finance, particularly in managing sales ledgers and credit control.
  • Proficiency in using Xero Accounting system.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Desirable: Arabic language skills, although not essential.
