Salary: £110 - £145 per day

Are you passionate about science and eager to support students' learning experiences? GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated Science Technician for a secondary girls school in Newham. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in the science department and enhance students' educational journeys.
Science Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science lessons.
- Assist teachers and students during practical experiments.
- Maintain and organize the science laboratories and prep rooms.
- Ensure all equipment and chemicals are stored safely and securely.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of materials and equipment.
- Provide technical support and advice to both students and staff.
- Follow health and safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
Science Technician Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Science Technician in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of scientific equipment and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A keen interest in science and education.
- Flexibility and willingness to support other departments when needed.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
