TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Local Authority Alternative Provision with their search for a English QTS Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for you to work with a positive and encouraging school, who are focused on child engagement with a specific approach to children looking to get back into a mainstream setting. The school's specialist care, Behaviour services and curated curriculum helps to provide support for the students working on their personal behaviour management with the extensive support of the teaching staff. The school encourages the students aged 11 - 16 to develop both socially and emotionally in addition to academically. The ideal English QTS Teacher will undertake the schools vision to cultivate a learning environment that embodies their values of collaboration, trust and ambition. You will show a strong commitment and a pro-active attitude towards the students education development and progression as they undergo their broad and balanced education.

The Local Authority Alternative Provision school are searching for the right English QTS Teacher to join their team of strong and passionate educators, focused on helping the students with their supported learning through personalised teaching and differentiated lessons based on the National Curriculum. The English QTS Teacher must have a strong knowledge or experience of working with children with challenging behaviour looking to improve and return to mainstream settings.

The successful Art QTS Teacher will have:

  • QTS
  • English Specialism or strong experience helping students up to GCSE level
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour
  • MUST have experience teaching English Language up to KS4, English Literature preferred
