A large and thriving secondary school in Inner London is seeking a dedicated and inspirational Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025. This is a full-time position at a school rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with a strong emphasis on academic progress, inclusion, and community values.
Religious Education Teacher - Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging open discussion, respectful debate, and critical thinking on a range of philosophical, ethical, and cultural topics.

Promote understanding, tolerance, and curiosity about world religions and moral issues.

Inspire students to reflect on values, beliefs, and their role in society.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe and supported in expressing their views.

Play an active role in the school community, contributing to assemblies, themed days, and cross-curricular events.

Person Specification:-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
