Do you have the passion, resilience and creativity to work with young people who need more than just a classroom teacher?

We're currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join a supportive and specialist setting catering to students with complex needs including SEMH, EBD, Autism, SEN and other barriers to learning. This is a full-time role in an Alternative Provision / PRU with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

?? About the Role:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with social, emotional and mental health needs

  • Work within a therapeutic and supportive team environment

  • Contribute to personalised learning plans and positive behaviour strategies

  • Support students with limited academic engagement and build meaningful relationships

  • Full classroom responsibilities with support from a highly skilled staff team

? About You:
  • Ideally hold QTS, but we also welcome applicants with backgrounds including PGCE, PTTLS, DET Level 5, or equivalent teaching experience

  • Experience working in SEMH, PRU, EBD, or SEN settings is highly desirable

  • Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent and empathetic manner

  • Able to foster trust, respect and emotional growth in learners with complex needs
