Academics is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated HLTA to join a well-regarded primary school in Eltham and the surrounding areas. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an individual with a solid understanding of the primary curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and a positive, supportive attitude towards teaching.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons across all primary key stages
  • Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and maintaining high educational standards
  • Running small group booster sessions to support students in improving their numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ensuring that lessons are delivered according to the plans set by the class teachers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • HLTA qualification
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Experience with positive behaviour management in primary education
  • Confidence in delivering pre-planned lessons independently
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
