Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Tower Hamlets (Bow Road) - January Start

Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a new opportunity in a thriving East London primary school? We are recruiting for a dedicated HLTA to join a welcoming Tower Hamlets primary school near Bow Road station, starting 24th January.

HLTA Role Overview:

• Location: Tower Hamlets (Nearest station: Bow Road)
• Start Date: 24th January
• Daily Rate: 105 - 130
• Contract: Long-term, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver lessons across different year groups in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide targeted learning support for students, including small-group interventions.
• Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and school staff to support students with additional needs.
• Help implement SEN strategies and support pupils with diverse learning requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or significant TA experience with strong classroom leadership.
• Previous experience in primary education, ideally in Key Stage 1 or 2.
• SEN experience is a plus (e.g., supporting students with ASD, ADHD, or speech & language needs).
• Confident leading whole-class sessions and delivering planned lessons.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
