This role involves managing a team of Engineers and Clerical Support, coordinating fire service operations, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring compliance with British Standards and company documentation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Fire Service Department budget, including liaison with the Fire Installation Department.
  • Schedule and supervise Fire Service Engineers, ensuring they have the necessary paperwork for upcoming services.
  • Process documentation, manage call-outs, and arrange remedial work.
  • Handle customer call-outs and provide out-of-hours support.
  • Approve timesheets, audit engineer attendance, and manage holidays and absenteeism.
  • Prepare quotations for minor works, installations, and fire extinguishers.
  • Conduct product and engineer audits.
  • Provide on-site assistance and support to engineers as needed.
  • Manage false alarm statistics and follow up with customers after activations.
