Our client, a successful international Law Firm are seeking Legal Practice Manager to ensure the effective support of its legal staff, across professional and personal growth. This is a permanent role and based in the London office.

The role will partner with different areas of the business as well as different practice groups. The Legal Practice/Development Manager will work directly with fee-earners of all levels and will work closely with all business support areas within the firm.

Responsibilities of the Legal Development Manager:

  • Build understand and maintain extensive knowledge of the firms practice groups, clients, workflow and the Fee-earners in the teams.
  • Identify areas of growth and development.
  • Assist with annual and interim performance reviews.
  • Assist in conduction any development conversations around secondments, feedback etc.
  • Work with Partners to help maximise team performance and cohesion.
  • Work with external training providers to create and deliver bespoke training initiatives.
  • Assist in recruitment of lateral hires & trainees.

Requirements of the Legal Development Manager:

  • Minimum 3 years previous experience as a Legal Practice Manager or Senior Co-ordinator (ideally in projects or finance although not essential).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
  • Strong IT, data and reporting skills.
  • Coaching qualifications welcome but not essential.
