SENIOR ENGINEER (SMART BUILDINGS)

75k - 80k plus excellent benefits!

A UK market leading organisation are seeking a specialist smart buildings engineer to join their team.

As the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of products, services and strategies, for growing portfolio of commercial properties.

You will be required to oversee the full process from preparing and managing proposals, project manage and coordinate installations, accurately report data to clients, whilst overseeing and resolving any technical issues on site.

Key accountabilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, inhouse teams and our onsite FM teams is paramount to this role.
  • Working with statistics, manipulating data and have the ability to communicate and present findings accurately to third part stakeholders.
  • Provide main point of contact between the team including sub-contractor and on-site facilities teams and/or principal contractor on installation works.
  • Reporting, data export and data analysis of data captured at individual properties in line with the reporting requirements for each property.
  • Setup optimisation rules and strategies.
  • Ongoing support role to onsite facilities and building management teams.
  • Ensuring technical issues are resolved

Experience required:

  • Ideally you will come from a controls system background with strong IT, Proptech and building services engineering knowledge.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to handle long and complex documents
  • Enjoy working in different environments as you will be both on-site as well as in the office. Flexible to travel across the UK as required.
