An Aftersales Manager is required for this well-established and highly successful site.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, control, and monitor processes in customer service areas while managing and developing employees.
  • Improve the performance of the service team through effective coaching and performance management.
  • Ensure sufficient resources are available to meet servicing requirements and regularly review key operating controls (labour efficiency, labour sales, and cost of sales).
  • Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity, ensuring marketing campaigns are relevant and targeted.
  • Accurately record all daily operating controls and KPIs.
  • Ensure premises, tools, equipment, and other dealership assets are controlled and used effectively.
  • Maintain effective expense control in line with agreed objectives through regular examination and review of management accounts and budgets.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience managing both service and parts departments is essential.
  • A solid career history within a main dealer Aftersales department.
  • Confident relationship builder with the ability to engage with customers at all levels.
  • Extensive career in Aftersales management.
  • Ability to create a positive working atmosphere, motivate the team, and ensure service targets are met.
  • Process and statistics driven, with an entrepreneurial flair to drive the business forward.
  • Proven ability to deliver high CSI results with a passion for customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge of vehicle design, manufacture, and legislation.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
