Supervisor

Company Overview:

Our client is a renowned Swiss chocolatier, celebrated for transforming fresh chocolate into extraordinary creations. With a global presence in over 20 countries, they are now seeking a passionate Supervisor to join their flagship boutique in London.

Position Overview:

We believe that our Supervisors have a great opportunity to further develop their potential with us. With the support of a global organization, we empower our team members to take ownership at the store level.

Responsibilities:

- Support Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager

- Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager

- Lead by example on the shop floor to create an outstanding and engaging in-store customer experience

- Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates

- Train and onboard a winning team

- Coordinate day-to-day operations

- Ensure proper food safety protocol and all other Health & Safety regulatory requirements are observed

- Oversee proper stockroom storage and care, by implementing FIFO in-store and in the stockroom

- Ensure the store looks great, following visual merchandising guidelines

Requirements:

- Experience in a similar role in a premium or luxury retail store

- Passion for interacting with customers and delivering an exceptional customer experience, setting a great example for the team with a hands-on approach

- Strong understanding of and experience with commonly used retail KPIs (e.g. conversion rate, ATV, etc.)

- Entrepreneurial, solutions-focused, and hands-on mindset

- Ambitious and results-driven, with a proven ability to develop and grow both a team and business

- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking

- Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively

- Flexibility in working weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

- Proficient in the use of MS Office and different POS systems

- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)

- Passion for fine food
