Fantastic role for a Shift Engineer to join our client's team on an exciting, flagship site. You will be joining one the largest growing Building Service Providers in the UK, offering valuable career experience, additional training and the neccassary opportunites to porgess internally. This role will inovle you carrying out PPM and Reactive Mainntenance on Mechanical and Electrical equipment, ensure any client needs are met, liaise with subcontractors and carry out general building services.

In this role, you will follow a contiential shift pattern, days and nights on a semi critical commercial site. You will recieve High Voltage training in this role. To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivelant), at least 3 years experience in a similar role, a positive attitude and the motivation to want to progress further within the company.

Shift Engineer Duties:

  • PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
  • Electrical Fault-Finding
  • Single & Three Phase Power
  • Emergency Lighting
  • Fire Alarms
  • BMS Operation
  • HVAC systems
  • AHUs
  • FCUs
  • Generators
  • UPS Systems
  • VAV/VRFs
  • Motor, Pumps
  • Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
  • Cooling Towers
  • Pumps & Motors

Shift Engineer Requirements:

  • City and Guilds qualified in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (C&G / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Apprentice trained - desirable
  • At least 3 years experience prior in commercial maintenance
  • Experience as a Shift Engineer - Desirable
  • Client friendly attitude
  • Willingness to progress internally
