A domiciliary care agency located in St Albans, is seeking an enthusiastic registered care manager to oversee its operations .

The Role

You will have excellent domiciliary experience and the leadership skills to deliver the high standard of care demanded by the agency.

Duties

Your key responsibilities will include

  • The leadership and management of a dedicated team of carers. This includes providing them with guidance and mentorship to ensure that they deliver exceptional and specialised care to patients
  • The administration of medication
  • Budget and contract management
  • Staff appraisals
  • Attending all staff and agency management meetings and preparing for important compliance audits including CQC visits.

Key Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Hold a level 5 or working towards this qualification
  • A strong background in Domiciliary care
  • Comfortable leading and motivating staff
  • Understand how to create and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Have a good understanding of assisted living principles
  • Be a great communicator with experience in liaising with patients and their families and other healthcare professionals.

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay - 38,000 to 40, 000 per year plus pension and annual bonus
  • Other Benefits - Company events and free on site parking
