Minerva Nursing is recruiting Community Care Workers to support individuals returning home from the hospital or to help them avoid admissions. You'll provide high-quality, person-centered care that empowers our service users to live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver compassionate, tailored care based on each individual’s needs and lifestyle.
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and medication monitoring.
- Help with daily tasks, including meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
- Support mobility and manual handling, using necessary equipment.
- Promote health, well-being, and independence, enabling service users to live life to the fullest.
- Work flexible shifts, including alternate weekends, to fit your schedule.
What We Offer:
- Full-time and part-time positions with flexible shifts that work around you.
- 3 -4 Patients requiring 4 calls thought the day
- Millage 35p per mile
- Regular work/weekly timesheet processing
- PAYE/Umbrella welcome
What We’re Looking For:
- Kind, caring, and compassionate individuals who are passionate about care.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a willingness to work towards it.
- A full, clean driving license is essential.
- Excellent communication, and listening skills, and the ability to build rapport with service users.
- Previous experience in a care environment is desirable but not essential.
