- To hold responsibility for and effectively manage a caseload of vulnerable children and families within the context of Children’s Social Care, offering a holistic and co-ordinated support based on family’s needs.
- To carry out duties as necessary and ensure compliance with appropriate legislative framework as it applies to families subject to immigration control.
- To identify and escalate any safeguarding concerns relating to children and vulnerable adults using the established protocols available to the post holder.
- To participate in the duty service in order to offer a proactive, flexible and responsive assessment and support approach to families who present to the service.
- To work in partnership with other Council groups, external agencies and organisations and the voluntary sector, referring to services as necessary
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of best practice legislation in relation to Child Protection and Children in Need.
