About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families? We are looking for a Family Support Worker to join our dynamic Locality Teams/Early Help and Prevention/Children's Services. In this role, you will work with families to improve outcomes through a multi-disciplinary approach, collaborating with professionals across health, education, social care, youth justice, and other key services.

Key Responsibilities

? Conduct assessments and develop SMART, outcome-based intervention plans.? Provide professional expertise using evidence-based practice models.? Work within a multi-disciplinary team to offer support, advice, and guidance.? Act as a lead professional for children and families, coordinating support plans.? Ensure effective and timely service delivery, meeting reporting and compliance standards.? Help families navigate challenges such as neglect, domestic abuse, and mental health issues.? Participate in supervision, reviews, and service improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

? Experience working directly with children, young people, and families.? Strong understanding of early help and family support interventions.? Ability to work creatively, problem-solve, and manage competing priorities.? Knowledge of statutory functions of the local authority and early help services.? Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency setting.? Excellent communication, mentoring, and reporting skills.
