Job Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Services Officer to manage a portfolio of properties and provide frontline housing services.

This role is both office-based and customer-facing, ensuring our residents receive exceptional support and service. You will report directly to the Housing Team Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated patch of properties, ensuring effective service delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support vulnerable individuals, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and manage a varied caseload.
  • Adhere to and implement housing policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in the housing sector, preferably with a local authority or registered social landlord.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high standards.
  • Experience in supporting vulnerable clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with housing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
