TimePlan are working with a SEND school in Lambeth who are seeking skilled SEND Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.

Role and Responsibilities:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support: Provide personalized support to students with ASD, PMLD and SLD helping them with their educational and social development.
- Collaborate: Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies.
- Assist: Facilitate classroom activities, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Engage: Encourage and assist students in developing essential life skills and social interactions.
- Adapt: Modify educational materials and approaches to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- Personal Care: Support children with personal care and toileting
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children with ASD, SLD and PMLD in a special educational needs setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting the development and well-being of students
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special educational needs are desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
