Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with dyslexia and literacy challenges.
- Assist the class teacher with tailored interventions and resources.
- Help students develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Learn strategies to support children with additional educational needs.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- A strong interest in education and supporting children with SEN, especially dyslexia.
- Excellent literacy skills and the ability to inspire confidence in others.
- Empathy, patience, and great communication skills.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a commitment to making a difference.
