Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Autism and Complex Needs? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant Special Needs school in Croydon, supporting secondary-age pupils with Autism and other Complex Needs.

About the Role

• Position: Learning Support Assistant

• Location: Croydon

• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:00

• Salary: £400-£500 per week (paid weekly)

• Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group support to secondary-age pupils with Autism and Complex Needs.

• Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs.

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

• Help with personal care tasks where required (training can be provided).

Requirements

• Previous experience working with Special Needs, particularly Autism.

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with pupils with additional needs.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic school environment.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
