Do you have experience supporting pupils with learning difficulties?

A friendly and welcoming primary school, with a real community feel, based in Peckham are recruiting for a strong SEN LSA to start immediately. The successful applicants will join a highly successful team with good support and training provided.

The role:

You will be responsible for assisting a Key stage 1 child with ASD, supporting them 1:1 academically. This role which calls for the expertise of a confident and proactive individual with existing experience supporting children with SEN, specifically ASD.

Learning Support Assistant
  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant working with SEN
  • An understanding of challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills is desirable
  • Have good behaviour management skills
