Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Role: 1:1 Support for a Year 5 Pupil

A welcoming mainstream primary school in Balham is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child in Year 5. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a Year 5 pupil, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Assist in implementing learning plans in line with the child's EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan).
  • Use effective strategies to help the child engage with the curriculum and achieve their goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure the child's progress and well-being.


What We're Looking For:
