The Senior Building Surveyor's Role
As the Senior Building Surveyor, you will be an essential part of a dedicated team of 10 professionals, engaging with both commercial and residential clients to deliver a wide range of consultancy services.
This role provides a unique opportunity to work on high-value projects for discerning clients, with responsibilities evenly split between professional advisory services and hands-on project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultancy services to high-net-worth clients in both commercial and residential sectors
- Manage a balanced workload, with an even split between professional services (e.g., building surveys, dilapidations) and project instructions (e.g., refurbishments, restorations)
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships, ensuring high standards of service and client satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with team members to meet project milestones and achieve shared goals
The Ideal Senior Building Surveyor
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within a consultancy setting
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver high-quality, client-facing services
- Capable of managing diverse project and professional tasks independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to client management
- Able to work well within a small, collaborative team environment
