Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Support Worker to work full time based in a Young People's service in Hackney, London.
The salary for this permanent Support Worker job is up to £26,037 per annum.
Main Duties:
- Providing exceptional support and meeting service specifications
- Conducting key work sessions, support planning, risk assessments, and needs reviews for young people aged 16 to 24
- Supporting young individuals in developing independent living skills, accessing education, training, and work opportunities
- Creating a conducive environment for skill development towards independence
Requirements of this job:
- Previous experience of working with young people
- Understanding the impact of social media on young lives
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflicts
- Genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
- Familiarity with safeguarding legislation and the housing sector
