Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Support Worker to work full time based in a Young People's service in Hackney, London.

The salary for this permanent Support Worker job is up to £26,037 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Providing exceptional support and meeting service specifications
  • Conducting key work sessions, support planning, risk assessments, and needs reviews for young people aged 16 to 24
  • Supporting young individuals in developing independent living skills, accessing education, training, and work opportunities
  • Creating a conducive environment for skill development towards independence

Requirements of this job:

  • Previous experience of working with young people
  • Understanding the impact of social media on young lives
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflicts
  • Genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
  • Familiarity with safeguarding legislation and the housing sector
