Horizon Teachers is looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join an exceptional team, offering vital support to a child with diverse needs, including autism, learning delays, non-verbal communication, and hearing impairments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, one-on-one assistance using engaging and adaptive learning strategies.
- Support communication through alternative methods such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC.
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that accommodates sensory needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic development.
- Monitor progress, provide regular feedback, and contribute to the creation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
