Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Youth Support workers to work in schools and alternative provisions in the borough of Greenwich. The majority of roles are full time, long-term roles with opportunities to secure permanent salaried positions.

The role:

  • Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Helping students manage their behaviour
  • Helping students gain a better understanding of their emotions
  • Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
  • Working as key player within the support network
  • Celebrating every success!

As a Youth support worker you will need:

  • Experience of supporting children/young people with SEMH
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • To be open-minded and have a positive and supportive approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have legal right to work in the UK
