Are you a Youth Support Worker looking for a new full time role in Camden?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Youth Support Worker to join this supportive alternative education provider in Camden. This is a full time, long-term role starting ASAP

The School:

This school are ambitious for every student setting expectations high, and having the energy, skills and resources to support each young person to meet this challenge.

The schools curriculum is specially designed to excite and inspire, with clever features like a weekly Active Learning day where all students go out and try something completely new. The role:

  • Supporting 11-16 year olds in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
  • Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
  • Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements

As Youth Support Worker you will need:

  • Experience of supporting disengaged young people
  • An open-minded, positive and friendly approach
  • A caring and professional manner
  • Must have legal right to work in the UK
